Nancy Marshall, a graduate of Gallaudet University,
Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary and a member of First Deaf Mennonite
Church in Lancaster, PA, has been working in Oragne Walk Town, Belize. Nancy went to Belize
at the invitation of a family of a deaf child when they realized their lack for
a deaf school. Nancy, a deaf woman, has been a teacher of deaf children in PA
schools for years and, after a time prayer and consideration, embraced the
opportunity to serve God in this way. Since her arrival she has not only
started and run the deaf school, but has followed God’s call to establish a Jesus' Deaf Church. She is supported through Virginia Mennonite Board of Missions
(VMM) and serves in partnership with Eastern Mennonite Missions (EMM).
ABDM is thrilled to partner with VMM in God’s work through Nancy. Her
periodic newsletters will be posted here for your perusal. Please contact VMM if you would like to contribute to Nancy's Ministry.
