There are a variety Deaf ministries found in Mennonite and related Anabaptist congregations.  These ministries range from congregations where the members are Deaf, the worship in conducted in ASL and outreach into the community is determined by the Deaf congregants.  There are also churches of primarily English speaking members, who's ministry is to provide a qualified interpreter for the occasional Deaf attendee....and of course, churches that intersect with the Deaf and hearing communities somewhere between these models.  On this page you will find brief descriptions of, and links to, these various ministries . Note:  we do our best to keep this page updated! If you plan to visit a congregation and will rely on the sign language interpreter, please contact the church prior to attending to ensure an interpreter is available. Also, please send updated information regarding these ministries to abdm.infomennonite.net.  Thank you.
